About Milos

 

Undertook martial arts at a very young age and became a champion of the former Yugoslavia at the age of 16. After setting himself apart from the competition and winning multiple national championships in the then-Yugoslavia, the government took notice and decided to award him with a national scholarship so he could continue to build his success. During his sports career, Milos won 5 national championships and was also a member of the national team. After this distinguished career, he went on to pursue sports coaching, which likewise turned out to be highly successful. Believing he needed further sports education, he undertook another martial art – Brazilian jiu-jitsu – and smoothly completed nearly all levels. As a coach, he noticed to have acute observation skills and the ability to predict through
observation how to help other competitors to win!

By utilizing his sports knowledge, the techniques learned, as well as a psychological approach to competitors, he managed to produce several world-class fighters! Realizing he was able to approach an athlete from the psychological angle with ease, he began to research sports psychology and combine it with his knowledge of sports conditioning, enabling him to produce several top fighters and contribute to the development of kickboxing in Serbia.
In September 2006 he became the lead conditioning coach at the Novi Beograd Kickboxing Club and the first Muay Thai coach. Together with martial arts, he decided to educate himself about fitness and soon managed to become the lead trainer at the Arena No. 1 Gym and attract a large number of clients. As such, he was mostly assigned VIP clients and had excellent results with them.

In 2014, he was approached by the UAE government offering him to work with Abu Dhabi Police on conditioning and self-defense, i.e. martial arts. In his position as a trainer (presently held), he worked with all police departments: special forces k7, SWAT team, special tasks team, etc. During this time, the police supervisor decided to assign him to a unit which was supposed to form a police team able to compete in Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a new martial art at the Abu Dhabi Police. Milos was assigned the position of a psychological conditioning coach and managed to produce the first generation of competitive officers, some of whom ranked among top 3 internationally!
He is still employed with the Abu Dhabi Police as the lead conditioning and mental preparation trainer for fitness tests and martial arts. Additionally, he is still an active athlete and competes for the Abu Dhabi Police Team and has always ranked among top 3 in BJJ tournaments in the past three years
